Donald Trump’s ‘forgotten’ daughter shares rare image after his bizarre comments about her

Tiffany Trump has shared a rare family moment on Instagram—one that arrived shortly after her father made some unusual public remarks about her.

Donald Trump, 79, has five children with three different women: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric with his late first wife Ivana; Tiffany with his second wife Marla Maples; and Barron with current wife Melania. Tiffany, often dubbed the former president’s “forgotten daughter” due to her relatively low public profile, posted a photo showing Trump seated with her young son, Alexander Trump Boulos, on his lap.

“Grandpa and Alexander hard at work,” she captioned the image. The timing raised eyebrows, landing shortly after Trump made a series of odd statements about her 2020 graduation.

Speaking at the US–Saudi Investment Forum at the Kennedy Center—where Tiffany and her husband Michael Boulos were in attendance—Trump praised his daughter’s academic record at Georgetown University Law Center.

“My daughter Tiffany is here with her great husband Michael, thank you very much Tiffany, thank you honey,” he said, before adding, “She was a great student. She went to Georgetown… she finished really right at the top and we were proud of you.”

Tiffany did complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania before earning her law degree from Georgetown in May 2020. But her graduation ceremony, like thousands of others, was cancelled due to pandemic restrictions.

Trump, however, suggested something more personal was at play.

“Her graduation got canceled because of Covid, but I say if her name was something else, they probably wouldn’t have canceled it,” he claimed. “They didn’t like that she did so well at school.”

He concluded with characteristic flourish: “I say they canceled your graduation because you were a great student… other than that, I have no problems. You see, I don’t take anything personally.”

Alexander is one of Trump’s 11 grandchildren—a growing extended family that Tiffany occasionally shares glimpses of with the public.
