Jacqueline Bisset, 78, Continues To Wow Audiences With Her Natural Beauty – Take a Look at Her Today

Jacqueline Bisset, often hailed as one of Hollywood's most beautiful women, has enjoyed a career spanning nearly six decades. Even at 78, she remains active in the industry, showing no signs of slowing down.

Recently, Bisset starred in the French thriller The Lodger, where she played a sassy femme fatale, and in the film Loren & Rose, portraying Rose, an actress striving to revive her career despite being seen as a bit zany and unreliable.

Throughout her career, Bisset has appeared in numerous films, many of which have become iconic. Her roles range from the sultry seductress Miss Goodthighs in the spy parody Casino Royale (1967) to a devoted mother in Sleepy Time Gal (2001), and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in America’s Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story (2003). She also took on the title role in Anna Karenina (1985).

Bisset's filmography includes other notable works such as Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Deep (1977), Wild Orchid (1990), her Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated performance in Joan of Arc (1999), her Golden Globe-winning role in the miniseries Dancing on the Edge (2013), Miss You Already (2015), and Birds of Paradise (2021). With such a rich and varied career, Bisset has much to be proud of.

In her personal life, Bisset has never married, citing her strong sense of independence as the reason. However, she has been linked to several high-profile men over the years. It was rumored that Frank Sinatra had a crush on her, but at the time, she was dating her Bullitt co-star, Hollywood bad boy Steve McQueen. Despite their attraction, the two were too different to make it work.

“He was attractive, but a little scary. I was very English, and he was a hip American. The way he talked would have driven me mad—I didn’t know what a dude or a soul chick was!” she once told The Daily Mail about McQueen.

Reflecting on her relationships, Bisset has said, “I’ve had some very interesting men in my life. They have been a handful. I don’t choose easy men, I’m told.” She dated Canadian actor Michael Sarrazin, ballet dancer Alexander Godunov, and actor Vincent Pérez. Despite these relationships, she has always maintained her independence, moving on when things became overwhelming rather than ending things in anger.

At the age of 69, after 47 years since her first Golden Globe nomination, Bisset finally won the award for her portrayal of Lady Cremone in the BBC series Dancing on the Edge.

Today, Bisset remains as stunning as ever, gracefully defying age. She has aged naturally, eschewing plastic surgery, and believes there is nothing more beautiful than embracing one's natural self. “If you want to look good, you’ve got to forgive everybody. It’s the best beauty treatment,” she said during her Golden Globe acceptance speech. She also expressed her views on plastic surgery, saying, “I don’t think it makes you look younger. It makes you different.”
