There comes a point in life when we feel the need to alter something about our appearance. Whether it's the stale hairstyle we've maintained for years or the clothes we've grown weary of, a slight change can be quite rejuvenating.
Rosa Ramirez, a woman from the United States, felt it was time for such a transformation after not having had a haircut for 25 years. Her hair had grown so lengthy that she sometimes found herself stepping on it.
Throughout the years, her husband attempted to persuade her to change her hairstyle, but she remained steadfast, being immensely proud of her hair that measured 1.5 meters in length.
After a quarter of a century, she finally decided it was time for a change. Accompanied by some friends, she visited a hairdresser and had her hair cut to shoulder length. However, she did this with a purpose in mind. Rosa generously donated 4 feet of her hair to the non-profit organization Locks of Love, which creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer.
