Fans buzz over Brad and Angelina’s son Knox Jolie-Pitt

Fans did a double take after recent photos surfaced of 15-year-old Knox Jolie-Pitt, whose striking resemblance to his famous father left many stunned.

Spotted out with his mother, Angelina Jolie, the teenager quickly became the subject of online buzz, with some joking that the images looked like a real-life “age reversal” moment straight out of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. More than a few fans wondered if they were actually looking at a young Brad Pitt.

Born into Hollywood royalty, Knox — the fraternal twin of Vivienne — is one of the three biological children of Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie, 49. Now a handsome teen, he sports Pitt’s signature smirk along with the sharp cheekbones shared by both parents, sparking endless debate over which parent he resembles most.

Although Jolie and Pitt split eight years ago and continue to navigate a complicated divorce, they remain devoted parents to their six children.

Before meeting Jolie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005. Jolie, meanwhile, had already adopted Maddox Jolie-Pitt (22) from Cambodia and Zahara Jolie-Pitt (19) from Ethiopia.

“Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love,” Jolie once told The New York Times, referring to her children watching the film that sparked her relationship with Pitt.

In 2006, the former power couple welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh, now 18, who filed in May 2024 to remove Pitt’s surname. The following year, they adopted Pax Thien (20) from Vietnam, and in 2008, twins Knox and Vivienne were born. During their marriage, Pitt formally adopted Jolie’s older children and raised them as his own.

Speaking to People in 2011 about then three-year-old Knox, Jolie said, “Knox is a lot like Brad, emotionally and physically.”

While Vivienne and Zahara have also dropped Pitt’s surname, Knox — often described as his father’s spitting image — is the only biological child of the former couple who has not removed Pitt’s name.

Giving back at a young age

Over the years, Knox, who lent his voice to Ku Ku in Kung Fu Panda 3, has continued to grow into his father’s looks.

In 2019, Pitt was seen with Shiloh and then-10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne selling organic dog treats at a park. The children sat behind a small table with paper bags and a handwritten sign marked with a heart.

Actress Sarah Ramos, known for Parenthood, shared the moment online, calling it her “calling.”

“I’m not sure why God chose me to tell this story, but I have to fulfill my calling,” she wrote. “A couple months ago I went to the dog park and saw Angelina Jolie selling organic dog treats.”

She later explained that the proceeds supported Hope for Paws, a Los Angeles–based animal rescue organization, encouraging followers to donate “to make Angie happy.”

A source told People, “The kids wanted to support Hope for Paws, and they made the treats themselves.”

Knox today

In July 2024, Knox was photographed with his mother after a visit to a pet store, both carrying bags overflowing with dog toys and supplies. Now taller than Jolie, Knox kept things casual in a T-shirt, black athletic shorts, white socks, and Nike high-top sneakers.

As expected, fans quickly weighed in on who he resembles more.

“Knox is very handsome and tall! I think he looks like his mama,” one commenter wrote. Another disagreed, saying, “Knox looks a lot like Brad.”

Others couldn’t decide. “OMG! Their son is gorgeous! What a combination of mom and dad!” one fan commented, while another joked, “Knox looks like Angelina’s brother.”

On the same day Knox was seen shopping with Jolie, Pitt was photographed attending the British Grand Prix alongside his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
