Social media lit up this week after a surprising scene unfolded during a White House press conference, featuring Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Musk’s young son, X Æ A-12.
The four-year-old, affectionately known as X, unexpectedly stole the spotlight on Tuesday (February 11) during an event where Musk joined Trump to sign a new executive order. The order, intended to reduce federal spending by requiring agencies to collaborate with the Department of Government Efficiency, has sparked debate in recent weeks.
While Musk fielded questions from reporters, young X became the center of attention with his playful antics—making faces and occasionally interrupting his father. But one particular moment sent the internet into a frenzy.
Cameras captured X picking his nose and then casually wiping his fingers on the Resolute Desk—yes, that historic desk.
Online commentary was swift and brutal.
“Trump looks furious as President Musk’s kid eats his boogers and then wipes them on the desk,” one user posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Another commented, “That’s absolutely hilarious!”
“Elon’s child is casually feasting on his boogers right in front of Trump,” wrote a third.
A fourth added, “I’m watching Elon Musk’s son pick his nose, eat it, and smear it on the Resolute Desk. There’s no way Trump isn’t livid.”
One more chimed in with, “OMG! Elon’s son just wiped a booger on the President’s desk!”
In the aftermath, the child’s mother responded on social media: “He should not be acting like this in public. I didn’t see this, but thank you for alerting me. At least he was polite… sigh.”
Though the incident lasted only a few seconds, it made a memorable mark—online and, potentially, on Trump’s mood.
