“As summer comes to a close, I cannot express how relieved I am to have completed my chemotherapy,” the Princess of Wales said in a statement released by Kensington Palace.

She reflected on the challenging journey her family has faced over the past nine months. “Life can change so quickly, and we’ve had to navigate some incredibly difficult times, all while facing an uncertain future."

Princess Catherine acknowledged the complexity and emotional toll of dealing with cancer, both for herself and her loved ones. "It’s an overwhelming experience, full of fear and unexpected twists," she noted. "Facing this illness has made me confront my vulnerabilities in ways I never imagined, and it’s given me a renewed perspective on life.”

As she looks ahead, the Princess plans to gradually return to her public duties, but emphasized that her health will remain her top priority. “Recovery is a long process, and I need to take it one day at a time,” she explained.

Catherine also expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support she and her family have received. “William and I have been so strengthened by the kindness and understanding from everyone. It has truly touched us. To those who are battling their own fight against cancer, know that I stand with you. Even in the darkest moments, there is always light—let it shine brightly.”

This positive development comes amid a challenging year for the British royal family, as both Catherine and King Charles III have faced their own health battles. King Charles disclosed his cancer diagnosis in February but returned to his public duties by spring.

Princess Kate's health struggles sparked significant media interest earlier this year. In January, she announced a hospital visit for what was initially described as abdominal surgery, but her extended absence from public life fueled speculation about the severity of her condition.

The speculation reached a peak when the palace released a heavily edited Mother's Day photo of Kate with her children, igniting what became known as "Kate-Gate." The growing rumors eventually prompted Catherine to address the public directly in a March video, where she confirmed her cancer diagnosis and her need for continued treatment.

By June, Catherine provided another update, stating she was "not out of the woods yet" but was taking each day as it came and hoped to gradually resume her royal duties over the summer.
