Model Says She Struggles To Get Employment With 99% Of Her Body Tattooed

Australian model Amber Luke, dubbed "Dragon Girl" for her extensive tattoos and body modifications, encounters challenges in securing employment due to her distinctive appearance. Having tattooed 99% of her body, she admits her job opportunities are limited but remains unapologetic, stating, “I don’t want to work for a company that’s shallow-minded and can’t look past my image.”

Amber has spent close to $250,000 on her transformation, which includes eyeball tattoos that temporarily blinded her and various other modifications. Her choices have garnered both admiration and criticism, with some individuals openly voicing negative opinions about her appearance.

Despite facing criticism, Amber considers herself successful and believes her physical alterations are justified. She recently shared a transformation photo, contrasting her depressed and suicidal teenage years with the confident woman she is today. Reflecting on her journey, she acknowledges the pain endured during her transformations but remains content with her decisions.

Amber’s narrative highlights society's views on beauty and individuality, underscoring the significance of acceptance and tolerance.
